Margot, as a creative director and model, how did you manage to establish yourself in the fashion environment?

Lots of perseverance, seriousness, entrepreneurial skills as well as a strong aesthetic sense and love for art... boundless dedication for this work at 360°, have self-control and control of the general situation, ability to make decisions even quickly, good organization, never complain, never give up and always demonstrate the best that can be achieved in every situation.

What is it like working with Eleonora Lastrucci? What do you like about her as a designer and how did this collaboration come about?

I met and have been working together with Eleonora since the beginning of 2022, so it's a collaboration that has lasted for a couple of years now. I have a lot of respect for Eleonora both from a professional and human point of view, I find her to be an exceptional artist and her dresses are unique in the true sense of the word, there is no one like another, they are exclusive creations made in Italy.
This Margot Des Alysés x Eleonora Lastrucci collection was born from a common idea we had in autumn 2023 and created in February this year. It was a great job to create these dresses that were representative of both Eleonora's style and mine. It's a collection that I feel is totally mine, that enhances me, with my colors, and models that I really like because I feel they are mine.

What does Florence represent for you and why did you choose it for this project?

I immediately chose Florence as the city where to shoot the project in honor of Eleonora who is Tuscan, also because it is a city that has always fascinated me, rich in immense history and great artistic beauty. Florence for its undeniable historical and cultural value recognized throughout the world and which goes beyond time: Florence is eternal, magical... it never ends.

What do you like most about your job? What is the most beautiful place to shoot?

I am in love with Sicily which I often talk about in my shots, but I also find it extraordinary to shoot elsewhere... Italy is my favorite place, it is easy to find beauty, ideas, both artistic and street, the possibilities are endless.

Have you ever thought about making films or singing? Do you see yourself in another capacity beyond modeling while remaining in the world of entertainment?

Absolutely, why not. I am often asked to sing and start a career in the world of music that is so dear to me... I don't rule out cinema too, as the right project arrives and in the most correct timing for me. If I have to act, it is understood that I should put my modeling career on hold for a few months, and this is what is holding it back a bit... but the offers are arriving and I am evaluating them. You may see me more and more fully artistically.

Going out or staying at home?

It's all about balance. I don't like parties so much or crowded places. I prefer peace, I enjoy my days in the nature. But, occasionally, I like big cities and a different lifestyle... just to come back to my harmony dimension. That's the real privilege.

Eleonora, when did you found your brand and where did your passion for fashion come from?

My passion was born at the age of 7. My father had a textile company in Prato where he printed fabrics and I was born into this large family where you could breathe the smell of fabric, of elegance. I attended art school in Florence and while I was studying I was already working because in the afternoon at the end of school hours, I went to the company, I wanted to learn a job that had the colors of the rainbow. After various collaborations with luxury brands, I understood that the time had come to continue my creativity and style with my own name and with the experience gained I entered the world of high fashion.

What do you want to convey with your creations, what concepts and who is your ideal woman to dress from her point of view?

I would like to convey "emotions". I started to get excited when I realized that my profession could be combined with art. My testimonials are musicians, athletes, actresses, dancers and for them I want to enhance their soul personality.

How did the collaboration between you and Margot Des Alysés begin, and when did you decide to create this collection together? What are the characteristics that you admire in Margot and what do you want to communicate with these dresses?

I met Margot's gaze a couple of years ago and I immediately understood that an overwhelming collaboration would be born. Her harmonious and at the same time sexy body makes this collection in particular special. I thought specifically about every dress she wore, it is essential to have a testimonial that represents you, in Margot's case it is her professionalism and her elegance that she shows when wearing my clothes. This collaboration had a very particular added value: "The perfumes", fragrances that accompanied the clothes. They are artistic perfumes handcrafted through the ancient techniques of Florentine perfumery and the use of precious essences and pure essential oils chosen specifically for each individual garment, to accompany the colours, the fabrics and recreate a synaesthetic atmosphere of suggestions and sensations that the dress itself represents. Even the Bohemian crystal and Murano glass bottles, in which this liquid olfactory narrative microcosm is enclosed, were chosen like the cover of a book.

What does your region represent for you and your sense of Italianness?

In this "capsule collection" I and Margot wanted to represent the uniqueness of Florence in high fashion. I tried to give breathing space to creativity by thinking about the beauty of the frescoes in the Palace; I imagined Margot in the midst of history, in a Florence nostalgic for times gone by and which will never return. Palazzo Pegaso inspired me in the search for ancient values and beauty to be proposed in a woman's body, wrapped in timeless clothes. I am proud to bring Made in Italy to the world.

What message do you want to give to your audience with your clothes?

With a dress I would like to convey to every woman the sense of representation of herself. She must feel beautiful, desired. Fashion is an evocative idea, each one has its own natural beauty, the aim I have set for myself, which was also my adolescent dream, is to highlight it without however leaving the margins of sophistication. In some cases, elegance is even discretion. We dare to the extent that the shape remains adherent to the sinuosity of a body in movement. Dressing a woman means enhancing her potential, making a part of herself flourish, helping her come out into the open: to say to the world "look at me, it's me". The stylist is the interpreter of this process and she must be able to enhance women who are so different in character, attitude, context, bearing and physicality. This is the task that the stylist must have, to choose for "her", just listen to her, the rest comes by itself.

You have a dress that you particularly care about, is that why? Both from her archive and from this exclusive collection.

Every dress has its moment. Every dress remains in my heart, because it has a story, a catwalk, an essence.

Which fabrics do you prefer to work with and what is your creative process? Do you do research?

My creations are born from the particularity of the fabric, I create the exclusivity, the uniqueness of the raw material, then comes the creative design, the paper pattern, the sewing up to the creation of the dress. The tailored line, the attention to cut and proportions, give immediate elegance, which highlights the shape of every body. The search for fabric is a constant obsession, it must be breathed, it must be loved, this makes your work important. I love macramé lace, sequins and silk.
